| Hi, we are Martha and Charlie and I purchased North Hills Nursery in October 2010. Charlie and I along with the former owner, John, spent the winter moving the nursery. We had lots of volunteer help from friends and neighbors setting the nursery back up. It was a huge project and we are just now starting to get the last of the landscaping done. There has not been time to do display gardens.. all in good time. My husband Charlie is a retired equipment operator. I have worked different jobs, the last one being a safety leader at a wood manufacturing facility. I decided that I would rather spend time working with plants and working for myself. Wish us luck and we hope to see those orders coming in. We will be introducing the new styrofoam based hypertufa (artificial rock) planters in several different designs, colors and textures which will enable us to provide you with some lovely one of a kind planters. Below is a shot taken of the inside of the large cold frame where I raise the sempervivums. I do not heat the cold frame during winter months, the doors are just closed. |
