Dish Gardens
NORTH HILLS NURSERY
Your firm’s tagline goes here.
We specialize in Sempervivum (hen and
chicks). sedum, sempervivum
collections, dish gardens, and hypertufa
(artifical rock planters).
My dish gardens now consist of a ceranmic 6 inch bowl. Colors range from
maroon, black, blue and white. If I am out of a color, I will substitute the color. I
will ship the dish or bowl along with soil, plants and aquarium gravel and you
must plant it up. It should be noted that the plants that I sell are grown in the
same conditions as hardy cactus so they only need watered lightly about once a
month. Dish gardens may be prepared as listed below in all red plants, all white
(arachnoideum), all green, all mauve or pink, and of course mixed.  All green and
all mauve or pink dishes will be shown as I have time to update this page. Just
click on the appropriate shopping cart. All dish gardens are the same price of
$19.95.
This is a picture of the ceramic bowls that I
offer below
showing colors.
This is my 6 inch white ceramic bowl planted in all
red sempervivums. Two views are shown. Use the
shopping cart with the color bowl shown that you
want.

This set of pictures shows one of my 6 inch bowls
planted in a mixture
of sempervivums. The mixture will vary from these
photos because they
are make up at the time of the order from whatever
is handy at the time.
However, it will always contain a beautiful
assortment. Order by bowl
color below:

White Bowl                Blue Bowl              Black Bowl

                                Maroon Bowl

These two pictures show the Maroon Bowl
planted in all arachnoideum (spider)
sempervivum. Plantings may vary at
different times of the year
as the arachnoideum vary in the amount of
webbing. The webbing
increases in spring and summer to protect
the plants from the heat.
