About 10 other varieties of sedum have been given to me by customers who didn't
know the name. These are for sale at the nursery only.

Sedums can grow in damper conditions than sempervivum but are completely
complimentary as they also belong to the crassulaceae family.

All of my sedums have now been tested outside here in zone 5 and found to easily survive
our winter.  All sedums will respond well to ferterlizer.  I recommend "Miracle Grow"
20-20-20 at least twice during the growing season or some form of slow release ferterlizer
such as osmocote. The tall sedums should only be purchased in the winter or spring months
when they are dormant because I ship bare root and they will wilt or rot the top foliage
during shipment. Most tall growing varieties and some of the trailing varieties are
deciduous (loose their leaves in winter).
For this reason colder areas may have to purchase
and then test for your area.

This little sedum was
given to me and I found
out later the name was
Sedum Acre.  It is
extremely hardy but likes
a little moisture. It grows
to about 3/4" and has a
tiny yellow bloom. Very
airy grey/green foliage
and will hang down over
a rock or container side
about 5 inches. It really
responds to a little
ferterlizer.
 Item #
SE0007
sells for $3.75 in
2-1/2" container.
Again, I don't know the
name of this tiny sedum
but have listed it
because it is so pretty.
One tiny little bract was
stuck on one of the
sempervivums that I
ordered and I have
propagated it from this
single bract. It is pale
green this sedum and
has survived outside in
1" X 1" square X 1-1/2 "
deep 6 packs and it has
survived as such down
to 12 degrees.  It will also
look good in any inside
setting.  Each little leaf or
bract is teardrop shaped.
Will die back some in
winter conditions.

Wiehenstephaner Gold
showing winter color. It
was just dug out from
under 10 inches of frozen
snow and thawed for this

summer. These little
winter rosettes are about
3/8th inch in diameter 1/2
to 3/4 inch tall. They will
turn to a pale green
come summer. You can
see green under the
rose in this photo.

that it has orange blooms
and the summer foilage
is varigated with white.

the same.
