Dish Gardens. You can use any type dish to make a dish garden as long as it has
good drainage. These are plastic dishes in which I have drilled four drainage holes. A
good mixture of any combination will look good.

Our dish gardens as you can see are all really beautiful and  come in white, black
or blue dish colors and three different sizes. Dish gardens are ideal for appartment
living where you don't have much space but want to plant some type of greenery.
Place in the middle of a coffee table  or  even  in the center of a dining table and
leave right there during the meal, makes a good center piece and you will love the
compliments.
This is our 13-1/2 inch dish garden featuring 14 sempervivums and six hardy sedums. It contains a good selection of all colors and textures in the sempervivum group and three varieties of sedums. As with the planters, the dish and plants are shipped without the soil. This garden retails for $24.99 plus shipping.

Our six inch dish garden containing a mixture of all 'hirta' or roller type sempervivums and no sedums. Rollers were used for this planting because they are generally smaller and we planted nine different cultivars in this dish. Because a smaller dish will tend to dry quicker, more color is picked up. These can vary from almost violet to red to purple and different shades of green even on one plant based on the moisture, fertility, temperature and light variations.  It is a super selection at $15.99 plus shipping.
